Hello, My name is Jen, the founder of Alluring Aesthetics. I am a Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Novalash Extensionist. My journey started when I was no longer interested in a career that lacked gratitude and filled my life with stress. I have always loved being creative and making others smile with the things I could make. The joy I feel when someone is in awe of my creation is beyond rewarding. After starting my training with a local Lash Bar I quickly realized I had discovered a passion. I loved Novalash products so much that I went another step forward and obtained my Novalash Certification. After a year in the beauty industry I realized I wanted to take another step forward and obtained my Aesthetician License. I now spend my days creating joy and awe for my clients. Due to the fact that you will have your eyes closed for a long period of time children under the age of 12 should not attend your appointment* FAQS: 1. Will eyelash extensions hurt my natural lashes? No. Your lashes have a natural shedding cycle. Most people will have a completely new set of eyelashes every 6-8 weeks. The lash extensions are only applied to healthy existing lashes. They will not affect your eyelash growth and will fall out with the natural shed cycle. This is why fills are required. 2. Will the adhesive hurt my eyes? Novalash is the only lash brand with adhesive that was developed by physicians. The adhesive will only be applied with the eyes closed adding a natural barrier. 4. How long will my full set last? The short answer is that it all depends upon your natural growth cycle and your maintenance of the lash extensions. Clients typically pick every 3 weeks, however, it should be noted that you will notice considerably less fullness at a 3 week fill then you would at a 2 week fill. That 3rd week is when you will notice a dramatic difference. 5. How long does a eyelash tint last? Your lash tint should last about a month. The dyes are not permanent, so there will be a slow fading of color over time. Typically, our eyelashes fall out naturally at the rate of one to five lashes per day! This is another reason why eyelash tints don't last as long as you might think. 6. Is an eyelash tint & worth it? Eyelash tint & lift will make your lashes look darker, fuller, longer and beautiful. You'll wake each morning with picture-perfect eyelashes. Your tinted eyelashes won't run even when you're in the water. The process is quick as well as inexpensive. 7. How long after eyelash lift/tint can I shower? You must wait @ least 24 hours after a lift and tint to expose your lashes to water. We use 24 hours as a buffer time to allow the lashes to set properly and avoid any issues with the lift & tint. After the 24 hour waiting period you can wash your face and lashes like normal. Don’t worry you can still have a shower and wash your face. Goggles can be used for protection during this time. 8. Can you wear mascara with an eyelash lift/tint? The short answer is yes! No matter what type of eyelashes you have, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to use mascara to enhance the lift & tint that's giving your lashes life. You just have to be careful about the type of mascara you use. We recommend Novalash or Elleeplex mascara as they are developed with natural oils to strengthen and condition your lashes. 9. How much damage will an eyelash lift cause? Because you are processing the lashes the follicle will sustain changes. However, the Elleeplex Profusion Lash Lift System is formulated to cause less damage. Lash bond integrity is maintained with the use of a highly evolved Cysteamine Hydrochloride formula that minimises the chance of over processing with a nourishing lash damage defence system formulated into the easy to use system. The formulation also Strengthens lashes and gives a longer, fuller and more defined transformative result. Combined with Elleeplex ReGEN “Next Gen”, the amino acid technology and plant extracts make this system a rejuvenation for the industries standards. 10. How do I know what type of fill to book? The ultimate goal with a fill is for you to leave with a full fresh set. To achieve this, it is important to remember that while you have lashes remaining, you do have grow out extensions. Grow out will cause tangling of the extensions and possible irritation and will need to be removed creating the need for a larger fill. A fill is done based on session time and you will need to book the the proper amount of time to get fully refreshed. Percentage and suggestions on days after your last fill are described in the information portion for each service (these are estimates and may not apply to some).
